How to find a good PSR

                              

This is the most difficult job in Indian fmcg sales . Your business depends a lot on PSR . But if you cannot find a good PSR then you will suffer . Obviously finding PSR is the distributor’s job . But when distributor will appoint a PSR , then the PSR  will be used by the distributor for his other job .So while appointing PSR , you need to be careful .

Now coming to the process of PSR finding.

1.Contact while working in the market.

This is the most efficient process . when you work in the market then you can observe other company’s PSR and you can contact him. As you have find in the market , it will be easily for you to decide his market relationship, market service, market reputation , honesty and all the things you need from a PSR.

Observe him for seven days at least. This will give you a complete picture of his working schedule. Also by this time you can build relation with him. At the same time you can follow multiple PSR and you can chose the best one .

2. Ask the shop keeper .

Retailer or wholesaler  can give you details of your potential PSR. They are familiar with all the PSR working in that market and can give you feedback.

3.Take reference from your distributor .

Your distributor can give some references , as he is sitting in that particular city. Take contact details of some potential PSR/Existing PSR and approach.  Avoid distributor’s relative , because if you appoint anybody who is distributor’s relative , distributor can manipulate your PSR.

4.Take help from existing PSR .

Your existing PSR can help you while finding a good PSR. It may be for a different city or town, their friends or relatives can be approached. It will save your time and also will find a trust worthy person.

5.Try your own source

You can try your own contact to find a good PSR. Your personal relation with the society can help you finding a good PSR. Ask your friends or family member for help .
