This is the beautiful character of FMCG sector.   Nobody will stop buying grocery item or cosmetics or cold drinks because of recession. Also the job cut during recession has a little effects on FMCG sector. We have seen during recession in2008 FMCG sector didn’t stop hiring. People planning to join in sales career can choose FMCG as their career option.   It will give their job security even during recession or economic slowdown.  It is not like IT industry or telecom, that job cut happens frequently. It is common man product and  recession has a little impact on it .   2.It is daily use   product.      As the term FMCG implies, it is very quick selling   because, it is the daily    need    of human. People from different class ,background or group everybody need everyday. It never has a dull
